Common Goldeneye

I came across a small flock of mallards in a pond and was about to pass them over when I decided to scope them.  I found two lovely female goldeneys among the group.  It’s always a good idea to scope any flock of waterfowl.

I also ran into a mockingbird, and some double crested cormorants who were intently watching an eagle soaring above them.
