Cedar Waxwing

The Cedar Waxwing is such an amazing looking avian with its black superhero mask, lemon yellow tail tips, powdery plumage fading from taupe to soft yellow and the deep red wax tips of the flight feathers.  Wow! what an amazing creature.

This Cedar Waxwing is wintering in a grove of native persimmon trees which the author can attest are quite tasty.
